Horizon Zero Dawn - Environment Art - by Jonathan BENAINOUS

Here is some of the work I did on Horizon Zero Dawn at Guerrilla Games in 2014-2015.

I was part of the Environment Team and mainly involved in the creation of ancient overgrown cities under the supervision of Kim Van Heest and Jan-Bart Van Beek.
My responsibilities on the "Art Benchmark" were to prototype modular assets and creating prefabs built from these building blocks. I also worked on covering the buildings with vegetation, the overall layout of the city, composition, and asset placement.

The Ventilation Shaft is a first 3D prototype of the Cauldrons, made with Robot pieces and Kitbash Sets from Vitaly Bulgarov.

For Nora's village, I worked on the creation of building blocks and huts used to create the villages.

Many thanks to all the people involved!
